Psychology of Teen Violence & Victimization (Vol 2)

The Psychology of Teen Violence and Victimization: Volume 2: Prevention Strategies for Families and Schools (Michele A. Paludi)

This book covers nearly all areas of teenage relationship abuse. It links to academic research that goes back to 1981.

It’s only in more recent years that teenage relationship abuse has started to enter mainstream discussions.

Although the book is based on American studies, it can still have a major influence on our practise.

Volume 2 is particularly helpful for discussing prevention: it touches upon teenage sociology, how it differs to adults, and how that impacts intervention work.

Available to borrow from the My CWA resource library.
