About us

Who we are

We are Act on it Now. We’ve been around since 2015 when Cheshire charity, My CWA, noticed there was a lack of support out there to help teenagers & young people to form healthy relationships.

Since then, we’ve helped thousands of young people to improve their relationships.

What’s in a name?

Our name is important. We need to recognise when things are not ok within our relationships. And we need to take action – do something about it – to keep ourselves safe.

That could be setting firm boundaries, seeking help, talking to a professional or calling the police if we’re at risk of immediate harm.

So if something doesn’t feel right, Act on it Now.

How we help

We help teens & young people, parents & carers and professionals to better understand why young people are more vulnerable to unhealthy or toxic relationships.

We also help people figure out what they can do if they find themselves, someone they care about or someone they work with in an unsafe relationship.

We do this by packing tons of helpful resources into our site – so it’s easy for you to read, watch and digest the information you need at your own pace.
